Bo Keevil was a male Kel Dor who functioned as a pilot within Ace Squadron. This squadron was tasked with the defense of the Colossus fueling station, which resided on the planet Castilon. Besides their defensive duties, Keevil and the other pilots also participated in races and provided escort for shipments. Following the First Order's occupation of the Colossus, Keevil was among those in Team Colossus who aided the Colossus in its escape to hyperspace.
During the time of the New Republic era, Bo Keevil held a position in Ace Squadron. This squadron was a group of starfighter pilots responsible for defending the Colossus refueling platform, situated on the planet Castilon. The squadron included leader Hype Fazon, along with fellow pilots Torra Doza, Freya Fenris, and Griff Halloran. In addition to their defensive role, Keevil and his fellow pilots were participants in the numerous races held on the Colossus. He was the owner of a racer known as the Yellow Ace.
Keevil, along with his fellow Aces, resided in the opulent Doza Tower. When Kazuda Xiono, a spy for the Resistance operating undercover, inadvertently challenged Ace Squadron to a race, Keevil's face appeared on a hologram panel.
Later on, Keevil and the other Ace pilots responded to a raid conducted by Kragan Gorr's Warbird gang. Initially, the pirates had the advantage until Xiono was successful in jamming their communications. With this jamming, the Ace pilots were able to turn the tide and successfully drive the pirates away. During the engagement, Keevil also shot down a pirate starfighter that was being flown by someone wearing a stormtrooper helmet.

Keevil and the other Ace pilots were present in the Aces' Lounge when Xiono and Tamara Ryvora, both mechanics, visited Doza Tower as guests of Fazon.
While Keevil and his fellow Aces were providing escort for a shipment, Gorr, acting on the orders of the First Order, initiated a second raid on the Colossus. Even though the pirates were ultimately repelled, this particular raid led Captain Imanuel Doza, the owner of the Colossus, to reconsider engaging in discussions with the First Order.
Keevil and the rest of the Aces were socializing at the Aces' Lounge when Xiono paid a visit to Doza Tower as a guest of Captain Doza's daughter, Torra. Xiono was undertaking a secret mission with the purpose of spying on a meeting that was taking place between Captain Doza and Commander Pyre of the First Order.
Keevil participated in a race alongside his fellow Aces. Torra initially gained the lead, but she depleted her booster fuel prematurely. This allowed Hype to overtake her and maintain his position as the top racer among the Aces.
Later on, Keevil and his fellow Aces took part in a mission to escort an incoming freighter. When the freighter experienced difficulties landing due to a pirate attack, the Aces were required to collaborate in order to slow down its descent.
During the events of the Bibo incident, Bo and his fellow Aces took action to defend the Colossus from Bibo's mother, which was a rokkna sea monster. In spite of their combined efforts, along with the assistance of Kaz, they were unable to successfully repel the rokkna. A tentacle belonging to the rokkna made contact with the steering vanes of Bo's racer, the Yellow Ace, which resulted in a crash. Ultimately, Kaz's friend Neeku Vozo was able to bring an end to the rokkna's rampage by returning Bibo to his mother.
After the kidnapping of their fellow Ace Torra Doza, Bo Keevil and his fellow pilots were deployed in pursuit of those who had abducted her. Major Elrik Vonreg was responsible for rescuing Torra, and he subsequently convinced Captain Pyre to accept the protection of the First Order.
During the military occupation of the Colossus by the First Order, Commander Pyre made the decision to cancel all races and prohibited Ace Squadron from flying. When Captain Doza shared this news with them, he also explained that First Order aerial squadrons would be responsible for providing all aerial security. Bo Keevil questioned what they were supposed to do, considering that they were unable to race or fly.
Bo Keevil piloted a customized "Changeling" Mark 71NB, known as the Yellow Ace, and he was the owner of the droid SC-X2. Due to the physiological characteristics of his Kel Dor anatomy, he was required to wear an antiox breath mask.
Bo Keevil is a character that was created for the animated series Star Wars Resistance. He speaks so infrequently that the "Meet the Aces" featurette does not list his voice actor, unlike the other Aces. His first speaking role was in the short "Sixty Seconds to Destruction," where he was voiced by Dave Filoni.
