Jeff Bennett


Jeff Glenn Bennett, who was born in 1962, is an American voice actor and also a singer. He has lent his vocal talents to numerous characters within the Star Wars universe. For example, he voiced the main characters Brenn Tantor and Kyle Katarn in the video games Star Wars: Force Commander and Star Wars: Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, respectively. Furthermore, he provided the voice for Darth Revan in the Star Wars: The Old Republic video game, as well as Plumestriker in the animated show LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures, amongst other characters.

Born in Burbank, California, United States in 1962, Jeff Glenn Bennett is an American voice actor and singer. Before focusing on voice acting, he worked as a singer. He would eventually be honored with an Annie Award and a Daytime Emmy Award for his contributions to the field. Bennett's initial foray into the Star Wars world was in the 2000 video game Star Wars: Force Commander, where he voiced the main character Brenn Tantor and a refugee from the planet of Abridon. Later, Bennett provided the voice of an Imperial officer in the 2001 video game Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader, along with clone troopers, Count Dooku, bounty hunter Jango Fett, and a captain in the March 11, 2002 video game Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter.

In the March 26, 2002 video game Star Wars: Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, he took on the role of the main character Kyle Katarn and a stormtrooper officer. He also voiced Fett and the clones in the May 15, 2002 video game Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds: Clone Campaigns, which was an expansion pack for 2001's Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds. Bennett reprised his role as Katarn and also voiced a saboteur in Jedi Outcast's sequel, Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, released in 2003. He later voiced Sith Lord Darth Revan in the 2011 video game Star Wars: The Old Republic.

The Freemaker Adventures

Bennett played Plumestriker, a recurring character from LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures.

Beginning with "The Lost Treasure of Cloud City," the fourth episode of the first season that aired on June 24, 2016, Bennett provided his voice for the animated series LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures, where he voiced the Sullustan Nien Nunb. In "Peril on Kashyyyk," the fifth episode of the first season that aired on June 27, 2016, he voiced the Twi'lek Ignacio Wortan and the Imperial Lieutenant Plumestriker. He continued to voice Wortan in "The Embersteel Blade," the fourth episode of the second season that aired on August 1, 2017, and Plumestriker in multiple episodes including "The Kyber Saber Crystal Chase," the ninth episode of the first season that aired on August 1, 2016, "Showdown on Hoth," the eleventh episode of the first season that aired on August 15, 2016, the short "Beware, the Gamorrean Flu!," which aired on May 4, 2017, "The Lost Crystals of Qalydon," the seventh episode of the second season that aired on August 7, 2017, and "Flight of the Arrowhead," the ninth episode of the second season that aired on August 9, 2017.

Bennett also voiced a variety of minor characters in several episodes, such as an Imperial officer in "The Embersteel Blade," the Lurmen Biz in "The Lost Crystals of Qalydon," a rebel officer in "Flight of the Arrowhead," a Rodian junk dealer, their associate Grummgar, and a rebel technician in the short "Home One," which aired on May 4, 2017, a rebel pilot in one of the shorts included in "A New Home," the first episode of the second season that aired on June 17, 2017, and a stormtrooper in "Beware, the Gamorrean Flu!."
