Raddus' task force was a task force belonging to the Alliance to Restore the Republic. It was formed by Admiral Raddus after he disobeyed directives from Alliance High Command. He journeyed to the heavily defended planet of Scarif, controlled by the Galactic Empire, intending to abscond with the plans for the planet-killing superweapon known as the Death Star. This task force was organized into three distinct groups, providing assistance to Red Squadron, Gold Squadron, and Green Squadron. Separately, Blue Squadron executed an infiltration of the Golan M3185 space station at the Scarif Shield Gate.
The MC75 Star Cruiser known as the Profundity functioned as the flagship for this task force. It received reinforcement from three EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigates, several CR90 corvettes, a number of Sphyrna-class Hammerhead corvette, various Braha'tok-class gunships, and a multitude of GR-75 medium transports.
