During the New Republic era, a male Kadas'sa'Nikto worked as a member of the Bounty Hunters' Guild. Around 9 ABY, this bounty hunter and two other bounty hunters were hired by Greef Karga, a Guild agent, to take a force-sensitive Child from Din Djarin, the Mandalorian. Karga had deceived Djarin, making him think the agent needed the Mandalorian's assistance.
After meeting Djarin and the backup he brought with him, the group camped for the night, but native reptavians attacked, killing one of the bounty hunters. However, the agent changed his mind after the Child saved Karga's life. The following day, the Nikto and the remaining bounty hunter tried to assassinate Djarin, but Karga betrayed and killed them to assist the Mandalorian.
Around [9 ABY](/article/9_aby], the Nikto was a bounty hunter belonging to the Bounty Hunters' Guild located on the planet of Nevarro. At that time, Greef Karga, a Guild agent, recruited him to be part of his security team. The Nikto, along with a Trandoshan and a human bounty hunter, went with Karga to meet the Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin. Djarin had a Force-sensitive infant that the Guild had been tasked with hunting down for a remnant of the Galactic Empire. Karga's plan was to kill Djarin and seize the Child, which would cause the Imperial remnant to leave Nevarro.

The Nikto accompanied Karga and the rest of his security detail to the lava fields to meet Djarin. Karga had lured the Mandalorian there by falsely claiming that he intended to assassinate the Client from the Imperial remnant, which would force his forces to withdraw. Djarin brought his own backup, including the ex-rebel shock trooper Cara Dune and the Ugnaught Kuiil, all riding Blurrgs. Karga acknowledged both security details and examined the Child. The Nikto and Djarin each placed their hands on their holsters, prepared to draw their blasters if necessary. Both relaxed when the Child was returned to his pram.
The two groups traveled across the lava fields before making camp for the night. At the campsite, Karga discussed his "plan" to kill the Client with Djarin. However, native reptavians attacked. The group opened fire as more of the creatures assaulted the camp, taking one of the Blurrgs. After a brief pause, one of the creatures attacked the Trandoshan bounty hunter, carrying the reptile away as everyone else shot at the animal. The group continued to defend themselves against the creatures, losing another Blurrg in the process. After the flying animals left, Djarin and Dune assisted Karga, who had suffered a fatal wound from one of the creatures. Dune asked the Nikto and his human colleague if they had any medical supplies, but they shook their heads. The Child then approached Karga and used Force healing on him, saving his life.

The following day, the group approached the city that the Imperial remnant had occupied. As Karga and Djarin, Dune, and Kuiil looked over the city, Karga secretly signaled the Nikto and the human bounty hunter to shoot the latter three. The pair quietly drew their blasters while positioned behind Djarin and Dune. However, Karga had changed his mind after the Child healed him. Abandoning his plan to kill Djarin and his colleagues, he quickly drew his blasters and shot the Nikto and the human. The pair fell to the ground dead, and Karga began to reveal to Djarin and his backup his original intention to kill them.
The bounty hunter was a Kadas'sa'Nikto who had green skin with some brown patches and black eyes. When Greef Karga held the Child, he kept his hand ready to draw his blaster, and he relaxed when the Mandalorian mirrored his action.
The Nikto bounty hunter made his first appearance in Chapter 7 of The Mandalorian, a television show created by Jon Favreau in 2019. The episode was directed by Deborah Chow and aired on December 18, 2019.
