Kiza, a female Pantoran, became affiliated with the Acolytes of the Beyond. In the wake of the Battle of Endor, during the Coronet City revolution on Corellia, she liberated Remi, a fellow acolyte, from the Peace and Security station situated in the city. Following Remi's release, they killed all of the detectives at the station with the exception of one. Subsequently, Kiza participated in an attack targeting a New Republic outpost located on Devaron, where she donned the mask that once belonged to Viceroy Exim Panshard. Ultimately consumed by the power of the dark side of the Force, she murdered her lover, Remi.
Born into a poor family of Pantoran exiles on Corellia, Kiza spent her formative years in the less affluent areas of Coronet City on the planet. Throughout her life, Kiza felt a deep resentment towards those she perceived as her "oppressors": the peace officers who constantly harassed her, the debt collectors who relentlessly pursued her family, and the upper-class Corellians who looked down upon her humble origins. As a teenager, Kiza began to have Force visions. Following the Battle of Endor, she was recruited by Yupe Tashu, a former adviser to the deceased Galactic Emperor Sheev Palpatine, to join the Acolytes of the Beyond. This [cult](/article/sith_cult] of non-Force-sensitive individuals worshipped the Sith and the dark side of the Force. It is possible that Tashu used a Sith artifact to induce these Force visions in Kiza.
Kiza worked diligently to climb through the ranks, starting with tasks such as tagging walls with the Darth Vader mask symbol and the warning "VADER LIVES." She also engaged in theft, donating the stolen credits to the Acolytes. Furthermore, Kiza scouted locations to be used as safe meeting points. She formed a close, sisterly relationship with another acolyte named Komat. In the months following the Battle of Endor, Kiza developed romantic feelings for a young man named Remi, who shared her fascination with the dark side. Before the [Coronet City revolution](/article/coronet_city_revolution], the Acolytes tasked Kiza with infiltrating the local Peace and Security station. To accomplish this, they created a false identity that allowed her to work as a secretary.
During the Coronet City uprising, Kiza used a blaster to kill several Corellian peace officers. When the detective Erno demanded an explanation, she declared that she was no longer his puppet. Meanwhile, Remi managed to retrieve a lightsaber from the station's archives. Before Erno could restrain Kiza, Remi used the lightsaber to sever his blaster hand. Kiza then struck Erno on the head and proclaimed that Vader lived, sparing his life so that he could warn others about the Acolytes' arrival.
Before the Battle of Jakku, Kiza, Komat, and their fellow Acolytes gathered on the [Colonies](/article/colonies] world of Devaron. They participated in an attack against a New Republic outpost situated in the Karatokai Mountains. This attack was one of many coordinated assaults on New Republic outposts across the galaxy. Their cell group was under the command of Tashu, who later revealed himself to be the true leader of the Acolytes. During this time, Kiza began to doubt her own strength compared to Remi, who had become obsessed with the lightsaber he had acquired on Corellia.
After consulting with the spirits of deceased Sith, Tashu presented Kiza with the mask of Viceroy Exim Panshard. When Remi expressed his jealousy and demanded the mask, Tashu reprimanded him for angering the Sith specters. As punishment, he took the lightsaber from Remi and gave it to Kiza. The Acolytes then launched a surprise attack on the New Republic outpost. During the assault, Kiza used her lightsaber to strike down several New Republic soldiers, even slicing off the legs of a fleeing woman.
The dark side influence within the mask began to take over Kiza's mind and body, with Panshard's voice speaking to her from beyond the grave. Remi saw this as an opportunity to reclaim his lightsaber. He managed to knock her to the ground, causing her to drop the weapon. During the struggle, Kiza managed to find the lightsaber and jammed the unignited blade against Remi's temple, then ignited the blade, killing him. After adjusting her mask, Kiza, now fully consumed by the dark side, rejoined the attack on the New Republic outpost. Komat realized that her friend had changed, and both she and Kiza believed that the corrupted Acolyte had killed Tashu.

For an uncounted amount of time, Kiza continued to obey the commands of a long-dead Sith Lord, gradually succumbing to his influence while becoming addicted to his power. Panshard promised her great power if they could locate the Sith world of Exegol, so Kiza established her base of operations on a large asteroid near the Red Honeycomb Zone. Following Panshard's instructions, Kiza amassed an army of battle droids that she housed in an old core ship that served as her home.
In 21 ABY, she participated in the raid on Nightside, where she attempted to confront Luke Skywalker and retrieve a piece of a bled kyber crystal from him, as part of Panshard's plan to navigate the Red Honeycomb Zone. However, she was forced to retreat without the crystal when the station she was on collapsed. After Skywalker learned about Kiza's past from Komat, Kiza met her end during a duel with Skywalker inside her core ship. Even after her death, her body remained a puppet of the Sith, controlled by the mask, with Panshard battling Skywalker one last time. The destruction of the mask caused her body to fall limp and become prey for a snake-like creature on Taw Provode's solitary moon.
Kiza's childhood was marked by poverty and humiliation, which fueled her anger and hatred. Despite lacking Force-sensitivity, Kiza experienced Force visions of the Sith. She later joined the Acolytes of the Beyond, a dark side cult that revered the Sith. As an Acolyte, Kiza learned to harness her anger and hatred. Her early contributions to the group included tagging walls with the Vader mask symbol and the message "VADER LIVES." As she advanced within the organization, Kiza participated in the killings of the Acolytes' enemies, including peace officers. As a Pantoran, Kiza was considered attractive by humans like Erno.
After the Coronet City revolution, Kiza was chosen by fallen Sith spirits to wield the mask of Viceroy Exim Panshard and Remi's stolen lightsaber. Completely succumbing to the dark side, she slaughtered numerous New Republic soldiers. When Remi attempted to reclaim his lightsaber, Kiza killed him in a fit of rage and hatred.
Kiza was a Pantoran female with blue-black hair, golden eyes, and blue skin.
Kiza made her debut in Chuck Wendig's 2016 novel Aftermath: Life Debt.
