The TUG-b13, alternatively known as the quadrijet transfer spacetug but more frequently called the quadjumper, represented a specific model of spacetug crafted by the Sublights Products Corporation. Approximately three decades following the Battle of Endor, one quadjumper was present at Niima Outpost. Rey and Finn had intentions to utilize this vessel to escape the First Order's assault, but unfortunately, it faced destruction from aerial attacks before they could reach and board it.

This quadrijet transfer spacetug was a spacetug type built by SubPro Corporation and purposed for activities within orbital transfer facilities. These ships employed magnetic fasteners to secure themselves to the bottoms of freight containers, enabling rapid repositioning within the yards using their quartet of substantial thrusters. This service was crucial, as each second spent in cargo container movement translated to lost credits for the yard supervisor. Moreover, the majority of bulk freighter captains lacked the necessary tools to independently transport their cargo across the final few kilometers from their vessels to their clients. The craft extended 7.98 meters in length, necessitating a single pilot for operation, while also accommodating two passengers. Entry and exit were facilitated through a rear portal situated between the four thrusters at the vessel's rear, accessible via a deployable ladder stowed beneath the cabin. During flight, the portal would seal securely using a locking mechanism.
The quadjumper's four thrusters, cylindrical in shape, featured engine intakes positioned at the spacetug's front, complete with electrostatic deflectors to prevent dust entry. Behind these deflectors were compressor blades, forming the turbine engines utilized for atmospheric flight. These components linked to a central thrust nozzle located at the engine's rear. The thruster's combustion chamber and fuel atomizer were situated behind the blades. At the thruster's rear were the ion drives employed for space travel, activated upon the opening of thrust bypass doors as the craft exited the atmosphere. These connected to an outer thrust ring encircling the turbine engine's central nozzle. Coolant systems, including pumps and lines, along with the vessel's power cells, were also positioned at the rear, encased within the engine's structure adjacent to the ion engines. The vehicle lacked any integrated weaponry, but could be easily enhanced with attachments to the dorsal mounting points, including armaments, sensor arrays, or supplementary fuel reservoirs. Increasing cargo or fuel capacity necessitated specialized modifications.

The upper pair of thrusters were partially shielded by red heat dissipation plates, while all four incorporated repulsor stabilizer fins. The quadjumper's hydraulic landing struts were integrated into the craft's base, emerging between the two lower thrusters. Above the vessel's cockpit, the spacetug featured a tow cable housed beneath the rear hatch. The forward cockpit was intentionally designed to provide the solitary pilot with maximum visibility, constructed almost entirely of transparisteel viewports. Two passenger seats were situated behind the pilot's seat and could be folded away to facilitate movement between the cabin and the cockpit. The cabin occupied the central space between the four thrusters, positioned above the vehicle's fuel tank. It incorporated at least one bunk built into the side walls and featured hatches at each end, providing access to the cockpit and the exterior of the ship. A retractable cargo crane was concealed directly above the cabin on the ship's roof, used to guide a refueling hose also housed there. The magnetic clamps used to secure the vessel to freight containers were located above the cockpit of the tug.

During 5 BBY, two Keredian fishermen employed a quadjumper for visits to the moon Narkina 5 to engage in squigglies fishing. This particular Quadjumper deviated notably from the standard TUG-b13, exhibiting a considerably smaller size. Instead of the conventional rear access hatch accessible by ladder, this Quadjumper featured a rear door and boarding ramp sized for humanoids, necessitating greater spacing between the lower engines. Cassian Jeron Andor and Ruescott Melshi attempted to commandeer the vessel following their escape from the Narkina 5 Imperial Prison Complex, but the Keredians ensnared them in a net, contemplating their surrender to the Imperials. Andor and Melshi, however, successfully persuaded them to release them by appealing to their resentment towards the Empire, which had irreversibly contaminated the moon's waters, hindering their fishing activities. Consequently, the quartet departed the moon aboard the jumper.
Around 9 ABY, a quadjumper was stationed near the city on the volcanic planet Nevarro, coinciding with the Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin's parking of the Razor Crest and subsequent entry into the city.
Approximately thirty years after the Battle of Endor, a collective of junk haulers, also operating as gunrunners, utilized an unmodified quadjumper while functioning within the Western Reaches bordering the Unknown Regions. The junk dealer Unkar Plutt intended to acquire the vessel and shared vague plans to generate substantial credits upon ownership. During the negotiation process, the ship remained parked in Bay 3 of Niima Outpost on the desert planet Jakku. When the outpost underwent an attack by the First Order in their pursuit of the turncoat stormtrooper Finn and the Resistance astromech droid BB-8, Finn, BB-8, and the scavenger Rey attempted to reach the quadjumper for escape purposes. However, before they could reach the ship, it was obliterated by fire from TIE/fo space superiority fighters launched from the Resurgent-class Star Destroyer Finalizer. The vessel's destruction compelled the trio to instead board the YT-1300 light freighter known as the Millennium Falcon, which was docked in one of the outpost's other two bays.
In 35 ABY, quadjumpers were included in a fleet organized by Lando Calrissian to support the Resistance during the battle against the Sith Eternal forces above the planet Exegol.
The quadrijet transfer spacetug made its debut in Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens, where it was exclusively referred to as a quadjumper. The vehicle's complete designation was subsequently revealed in Star Wars: The Force Awakens: Incredible Cross-Sections, a reference book authored by Jason Fry and illustrated by Kemp Remillard, published one day following the film's 2015 release.
