Hirodin Nasli was a human who piloted TIE fighters for the Galactic Empire as part of the 204th Imperial Fighter Wing. This pilot was assigned to one of the squadrons aboard the Quasar Fire-class cruiser-carrier named Aerie. In 4 ABY, while the Aerie was tracking the New Republic EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate Hellion's Dare through the Oridol Cluster, the pilots of the Hellion's Dare's escort, Hound Squadron and Riot Squadron, gave Nasli the moniker "Puke" because of his tendency to spray laser cannon fire during space combat. Ultimately, Nasli met his death during this pursuit at the hands of Chass na Chadic, who piloted an A/SF-01 B-wing starfighter.

During the Galactic Civil War, Hirodin Nasli, a human TIE fighter pilot, served with the 204th Imperial Fighter Wing of the Galactic Empire. In 4 ABY, Nasli was one of the TIE/ln space superiority starfighter squadrons stationed on the Quasar Fire-class cruiser-carrier Aerie, which was in pursuit of the New Republic EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate Hellion's Dare and its two escort squadrons: Riot Squadron and Hound Squadron. This pursuit was part of an operation led by the 204th's commanding officer, Colonel Shakara Nuress, to keep the location of the fighter wing's new base in the Pandem Nai system a secret.
After forcing the Hellion's Dare and its escorts out of the Jiruus system, the Aerie and its TIEs, including Nasli, chased the New Republic starships through the Oridol Cluster, taking out several New Republic fighters along the way. During these engagements, the New Republic pilots from Riot and Hound Squadrons began calling Nasli "Puke" due to his frequent use of spraying laser cannon fire. The New Republic pilots would also talk about Puke and the other Imperial pilots during downtime. However, after about six engagements, Nasli was killed by Chass na Chadic of Hound Squadron, who was flying an A/SF-01 B-wing starfighter.
The death of Nasli was celebrated on the Hellion's Dare as the first kill for the New Republic pilots. Fadime, the acting leader of Hound Squadron, commented that the deceased TIE fighter pilot would no longer spray cannon fire in such a childish manner, and she moved the name "Puke" to the bottom of the list of Imperial pilots on a tactical display. The Aerie's TIE fighters continued to pursue the Hellion's Dare and its escort until the frigate was destroyed. Only Chadic and another pilot named Wyl Lark managed to escape the Imperial forces, and both would frequently recall the battles.
At least a month later, while on a reconnaissance mission on the planet Troithe aboard a UT-60D U-wing starfighter/support craft, Chadic remembered the Imperial pilots she had fought in the Oridol Cluster, including Nasli, flying through the cluster's clouds. In 5 ABY, Lark engaged in a dogfight with Colonel Soran Keize, who was the 204th's commanding officer at the time. During the fight, Keize's firing patterns reminded Lark of Nasli's tactics. During the Battle of Jakku that year, Lark was confronted by Lieutenant Palal Seedia, one of Nasli's former wingmates. After a brief fight, Seedia blamed Lark for Nasli's death, reciting the late pilot's name.
The character Hirodin Nasli was first mentioned as "Puke" in Alexander Freed's 2019 novel Alphabet Squadron, the first book in the Star Wars: Alphabet Squadron series. Nasli's full name wasn't revealed until the 2021 novel Victory's Price, the third book in the series by Freed.
