"The Budding Mythrol," sometimes shortened to "The Mythrol," was a Mythrol male who was employed by Greef Karga until he stole from him and made his escape. By the time a bounty was issued for his capture during the New Republic Era, the Mythrol found himself on the ice planet of Pagodon, where he was being bothered by a group of trawlers inside a bar. After a Mandalorian bounty hunter known as Din Djarin walked into the bar and subdued the trawlers, he apprehended the Mythrol, subsequently freezing him in carbonite before handing him over, along with other individuals, to Karga, who was operating as an agent for the Bounty Hunters' Guild, in order to receive the promised rewards. Karga later allowed him to work off what he owed.

Since his early years as a pollywog, a Mythrol male, referred to as "the Budding Mythrol" or simply "Mythrol," was in the employment of Greef Karga on the planet of Nevarro located in the Outer Rim Territories. He was tasked with managing his accounting until he decided to misappropriate some of the money for his own use and abscond from the planet. This resulted in him owing Karga a debt, and, by the time he was considered a fledgling, a bounty was placed on the Mythrol's head. Consequently, around 9 ABY, Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin tracked the Mythrol down to a bar situated on the ice planet Pagodon, where he had been concealing himself. Within the bar, the Mythrol was being subjected to harassment by a group of trawlers. One of the humans asserted that his glands would fetch a good price at the port, and that his youthful musk would be particularly desirable. He offered them his credits on the table, but it was all for naught. The Quarren subsequently hauled him to his feet as the human prepared to cut him with his knife.
Before they could proceed, Djarin entered the bar, drawing the attention of the group. The Mythrol then observed as the trawlers surrounded Djarin at the counter. As a fight broke out, he watched the scuffle unfold from behind the table. Once Djarin had rendered the three trawlers incapable of fighting, he approached the Mythrol.
The Mythrol expressed his gratitude to Din Djarin for rescuing him, offering him the credits he had previously presented to the trawlers, suggesting he use them to purchase a drink. However, Djarin produced a bounty puck displaying his face and wanted status. "The Mythrol" proposed offering him even more credits, claiming there had been a misunderstanding. Djarin then issued a threat, stating that he could bring him in either dead or alive. With no other viable options, the Mythrol conceded.

Following closely behind Djarin, they approached a ferryman, who provided transportation to Djarin's personal starship, the Razor Crest. During the landspeeder ride, the Mythrol engaged in conversation with the pilot regarding ravinaks, with the pilot responding that they were currently away from the ship. Upon arriving at the Razor Crest, the Mythrol suggested hiring a Livery Cruiser, but his offer was declined. He then witnessed the pilot drive away, only to be killed by a ravinak, causing the Mythrol to become panicked. Din Djarin swiftly pulled him out of the creature's path and into the starship. As the ravinak dragged the ship towards the ground, Djarin repelled it with his Amban phase-pulse blaster, allowing them to take off. The Mythrol then breathed a sigh of relief.
While in space, the Mythrol complimented the Razor Crest and reminded the Mandalorian that he still possessed a considerable amount of credits. He then inquired whether Mandalorians ever removed their helmets, but Djarin maintained silence throughout the flight. The Mythrol then asked Djarin for permission to use the vacc tube, explaining that the bounty hunter would not want to witness a fledgling Mythrol evacuating their thorax. He then departed the cockpit to locate the vacc tube.

After proceeding to the ship's lower deck, he began tampering with the controls, inadvertently opening a weapons cabinet. Utilizing the beeping sounds emanating from them, he attempted to deceive Djarin into believing he had used the tube. The Mythrol then proceeded to examine a number of individuals frozen in carbonite, while expressing his desire to be home for Life Day. Unbeknownst to him, Djarin made his way to the lower deck and stood beside him, subsequently seizing him and placing him in a carbonite block, completely freezing him. Upon arriving on Nevarro, Djarin handed over his bounties to Karga, who was an agent for the Bounty Hunters' Guild who dispatched an individual to collect the frozen targets, including the Mythrol.
Eventually, the Mythrol was thawed out and presented with an opportunity to work off his debt, which amounted to three hundred and fifty years of service, by working for Karga once more. After the planet came under the control of Moff Gideon's Imperial remnant, Karga, who assumed the role of Magistrate of Nevarro, and Carasynthia Dune, who became the marshal of Nevarro City, collaborated to improve Nevarro instead of allowing it to fall back into the hands of the Bounty Hunters' Guild. Consequently, in the now-thriving Nevarro city, the Mythrol was employed in Karga's office to earn a living and repay his debt.
One day, Djarin, who had since become the caretaker of his own foundling, a member of Yoda's species named Grogu, returned to Nevarro for repairs on the Razor Crest. After Djarin, Karga, and Dune dropped Grogu off at the local school, they arrived at Karga's office, where the Mythrol attempted to inform Karga who he believed the Razor Crest belonged to until he noticed Djarin with the magistrate. Both Djarin and the Mythrol were taken aback by the encounter, although the Mythrol was visibly frightened by the sudden appearance of his captor, before Karga and he explained the reason for his employment in the office. When Djarin assured Karga that he could hunt the Mythrol down again if he attempted to flee a second time, the Mythrol vowed that he would not, as he never wanted to be encased in carbonite again.
When Dune and Karga enlisted Djarin to help take out a surviving Imperial base, the Mythrol drove them to the base on his speeder, with Karga stating that he would deduct years from his debt if he did so, or make him walk back to the city if he refused. Karga promised an additional thirty years off his debt if he stayed, and the Mythrol agreed to accompany them inside to eliminate the base. After learning that Gideon had survived their previous encounter, Djarin departed via his jetpack to retrieve Grogu from the school, while the Mythrol, Karga, and Dune escaped the exploding base aboard a Trexler 906 Armored Marauder. They were pursued by scout troopers on 74-Z speeder bikes and then Outland TIE fighters, although all their pursuers were ultimately destroyed. The last TIE fighters were taken out by Djarin aboard the now-repaired Razor Crest.
A cowardly yet amiable criminal, the fledgling male Mythrol possessed blue eyes and skin. Initially perceiving Din Djarin as his savior, The Mythrol willingly rewarded him with credits, only to be confronted with a bounty puck displaying his face. When interacting with the trawlers and Din Djarin, he attempted to evade them by offering them credits, but was ignored on both occasions. While in Djarin's custody, the Mythrol offered to cover the full cost of a Livery Cruiser, but was silently rebuffed by the bounty hunter. He later attempted to mislead Djarin into believing he was using the Razor Crest's vacc tube, but was eventually discovered and frozen in carbonite by the bounty hunter.
