Mission to Drahgor III

During the conflict between the First Order and the Resistance, known as the war, members of the Team Colossus embarked on a quest. This quest took them to Flix's birthplace, the planet Drahgor III, with the aim of securing fuel for the Colossus. The source of this fuel was to be Flix's relatives.

Background

Flix, a Gozzo, spent his formative years on Drahgor III, a world known for its harsh weather. Flix's family were the proprietors of a fuel processing plant that extracted fuel from deep within the planet. While his cousins, including Flanx, were content with their lives as miners, Flix considered his family provincial and yearned to be a performer in a cantina. Despite leaving his family on bad terms, Flix's aspirations as a singer were largely unsuccessful.

Later, Flix became a co-owner of the Office of Acquisitions, a business he managed alongside his Chadra-Fan associate, Orka. This Office of Acquisitions, situated on the Colossus platform orbiting the planet Castilon, specialized in selling ship components and weaponry. Following the First Order's seizure of the Colossus, Kazuda Xiono, a Resistance agent, and Jarek Yeager, a former New Republic fighter aviator, spearheaded an rebellion that resulted in the Colossus being launched into outer space.

The objective

A tempestuous return

After the Colossus experienced sabotage at the hands of Nenavakasa Nalor, a Nikto mechanic, and barely evaded the First Order, the space station's fuel reserves were critically low. Captain Imanuel Doza assigned Flix, Orka, Xiono, CB-23, and his daughter Torra Doza to a mission: retrieve fuel from Flix's family on Drahgor III. Navigating the planet's violent atmosphere, the team successfully landed their Star Commuter 2000 vessel at the designated refueling station.

Flix's cousins gave him a frosty greeting, especially Flax, who taunted him about his failed singing career. Flix demanded fuel, acting as if it was his right. However, his cousins refused to provide it without compensation. After one of the refinery's drills stopped working, Xiono persuaded Flanx to give them fuel in exchange for helping to fix the drill. Flanx agreed and brought the offworlders down into the depths of Drahgor III on a lift. Flix believed that his cousins' deep-core drilling was angering the Karnex Dragons, but Flanx dismissed the dragons as fictional.

A hazardous drop

During their descent in the mine shaft, the lift malfunctioned because a piece of debris, dislodged by a Karnex dragon, caused it to plunge uncontrollably. Only a toolbox that fell stalled the damaged lift. Despite Flix's warnings, Flanx continued to deny the existence of the dragons. Torra suggested they move onto the tracks. Kaz tried to use his lever to stop the lift from descending but the breaks broke. Torra and Orka, who had climbed onto the elevator shaft, became separated from the others.

Kaz, CB-23, Flix, and Flanx managed to escape from the runaway cabin before it crashed at the bottom of the mine. On Kaz's advice, Torra and Orka climbed up the shaft to reach the shuttle. The climb was exhausting, and Orka considered giving up. However, Torra motivated him to continue by reminding him of his affection for Flix.

Meanwhile, Kaz landed on one side of the platform and became separated from Flix, Flanx, and CB-23. While making his way through the other side of the ridge to rejoin his companions, Kaz encountered a Karnex dragon, which smelled him but could not see him well. Kaz eventually reached his friends and Flanx at the drill and told them about his encounter with the dragon. Flanx insisted that dragons were a myth and insisted on repairing the drill.

Lair of the dragons

The group soon came under attack by the Karnex dragon that Kaz had encountered. Despite putting up some resistance, Flanx was seized by the Karnex dragon, which carried him into the hole created by the drill. Kaz, Flix, and CB-23 followed the dragon through a tunnel into its lair. Kaz also contacted Torra and Orka, who were near the top, and asked for a pick-up. After a struggle, Kaz managed to free Flanx from the creature's mouth by shooting at it.

After a difficult climb, Torra and Orka reached the top of the drilling platform where they were greeted by the other Gozzo, who wanted to know what was going on with Flix and Flanx. Orka impressed the Gozo by speaking up for Flix and saying that he was entitled to fuel as a family member. The two then flew the shuttle into the depths of the mines to aid their friends and Flax.

Meanwhile, Kaz, Flix, Flanx, and CB-23 managed to escape the cave only to be cornered by several Karnex dragons. Flix came up with an idea to disorientate the dragons with bright blast lights. However, one of the dragons knocked out a light. Fortunately for them, Torra and Orka arrived on their shuttle and managed to drive the dragons back into the cave. Realizing the error of his ways, Flanx then used the drill to seal the cave.

Outcome

As an end result of the Mission to Drahgor III, Kaz, Torra, Flix, Orka, and CB-23 acquired two large containers of fuel for the Colossus from Flix's family. Flix also made amends with his cousin Flanx, who gifted the fuel to Flix and his comrades. Recognizing that the Karnex dragons were real and that the mining operations were encroaching on their natural habitat, Flax put a stop to further deep-core drilling. Flix then left with his comrades to the Colossus, continuing their journey.
