The Nursery Orbital Habitat served as a large space station. It was associated with the Galactic Society of Creature Enthusiasts. M1-RE, also called Miree, was a Safari droid and a dedicated member of the Society. Miree specialized in the care and study of several young creatures and aliens on the habitat. The cam droid CAM-E recorded Miree's interactions with the younglings. This footage was then broadcast across the HoloNet and the findings were sent back to the Society. The station housed and cared for younglings of various species, including Wookiees, Ewoks, Ortolans, Hutts, Gungans, Jawas, Gamorreans, Rodians, loth-cats, rancors, tauntauns, and porgs. The station's exterior was primarily gray and orange, and it contained rooms designed for various purposes.
The Galactic Society of Creature Enthusiasts, or GCSE, used the Youngling Care Space Station to study, house, and care for younglings of different sentient and non-sentient species. The station was located somewhere in the galaxy.

The station's hull was a combination of orange and white. It had one main thruster and at least five smaller thrusters at the rear. A long corridor extended from the back of the ship, leading to a large circular hub. The corridor's exterior walls featured grey paneling. Three radar dishes were positioned on top of the connective segment between the hub and the corridor. The circular hub had a slight indentation that opened into a large, half-circular window. A black strip ran across the front of the ship, adorned with several circular blue lights on the side.
Inside, the large window formed part of the ceiling of a central living area. In addition to this living area, the station included several other rooms designed as living spaces for the younglings. These included a meditation and napping room, and a bathing room. The central room also provided access to controlled environments inspired by known planets in the galaxy: a forest environment modeled after the moon Endor, a snowy environment inspired by the planet Hoth, a swamp environment inspired by the planet Naboo, and a prarie environment inspired by the planet Lothal.

The living room featured orange seating arranged around a pink carpet, upon which a holotable was placed. Shelves and a storage closet were located behind the furniture. The room also contained art tables, eating tables, two red slides, a play area (sometimes filled with sand), and a kitchen. Artwork hung on the walls, and aquariums were built into the walls. Grey twin stairs led to an upper level with a large door and six hovering prams for the younglings to sleep in. The bathing room contained a large bathtub and cleaning supplies for bathing the younglings. The meditation room featured a large circular disk for meditation, with seats for all younglings and space for a caretaker in the center. It also included hovering prams for resting, beds, additional storage, and purple lightning.

The Endor-themed environment featured forest-decorated walls and a flowing waterfall. Fake trees with treehouses, replicating Ewok villages, and vines for swinging were present. Logs and rocks were scattered off the main path. The Hoth-themed environment opened from an ice cave entrance and had a snowy wall backdrop. It included a raceway themed after the technology used at Echo Base by the Alliance to Restore the Republic during the Galactic Civil War. The Naboo-themed environment had jungle-themed walls and a swimming pool with pool equipment. Models of heads of statues created by the Elders of Naboo served as decor. The room also featured a circular terrace built out of a tree. The Lothal-themed environment had a hilly, arid backdrop and was filled with grass native to Lothal, creating paths and small areas.

Around or after 34 ABY, the GCSE commissioned SF-R3, a Safari droid known as Aree, to create a new educational program for the HoloNet. After producing his show, Aree requested M1-RE, another Safari droid also known as Miree, to develop an educational program demonstrating how to care for younglings from across the galaxy. Miree filmed twelve episodes, each focusing on a different species of youngling. The filming was done by her cam droid CAM-E aboard the Youngling Care Space Station, and the species included: a Wookiee youngling, an Ewok youngling, three Jawa younglings, a Rodian youngling, a Gamorrean youngling, a Huttlet, a tauntaun youngling, a rancor youngling, many porg younglings, an Ortolan youngling, a Gungan youngling, and a Loth-cat youngling.
In the Wookiee episode, Miree instructed viewers on managing a young Wookiee's temper. In the Ewok episode, the safari droid helped the Ewok youngling overcome shyness by hosting a party. In the Jawa episode, after the three Jawa younglings hid various technological parts from the station, Miree assisted one of the Jawas in locating the hidden items. In the Rodian episode, Miree and the Rodian youngling became stuck together. The Gamorrean episode showed Miree helping the young Gamorrean after he lost a tooth. In the Huttlet episode, Miree prepared the young Hutt for bedtime by giving her a bath and tucking her in. The tauntaun episode featured a race between CAM-E and the tauntaun youngling to expend the tauntaun's energy. In the rancor episode, Miree repaired the youngling's favorite toy and taught the rancor to play more gently. In the porgs episode, Miree assisted the porg younglings in building a nest in the living room. When the Ortolan youngling broke his walker during playtime, Miree and CAM-E helped alleviate his frustration by fixing it. In the Gungan episode, Miree taught the young Gungan how to walk. The Loth-Cat episode, the final one, shows Miree playing with the Loth-Cat youngling in the Lothal-themed room.
After the Battle of Exegol in 35 ABY, Ardis San Tekka from the San Tekka clan joined the GCSE. San Tekka was stationed on the Youngling Care Space Station, where she took on a position cataloging data. She later joined the Creature Husbandry Team and eventually became the organization's Director of Creature Cartography. Ardis San Tekka mentioned her time on the space station in the introduction to her bestiary, which she wrote during her tenure.
The Youngling Care Space Station made its debut in "Wookiee" and "Ewok," which were the first and second episodes of the animated micro-series Star Wars Galactic Pals. These episodes aired on April 12, 2022. The show's official trailer, which showcased the space station, was released on YouTube alongside the episodes.
