Todo 360

Todo 360, a techno-service droid, belonged to bounty hunter Cad Bane. Despite Bane often underestimating and ignoring him, Todo consistently provided assistance without hesitation. He participated in numerous missions alongside Bane, such as stealing a holocron from the Jedi Temple and freeing Ziro the Hutt.

History

Creation

On the planet Vertseth, Vertseth Automata, a droid manufacturing company, built Todo 360, a techno-service droid. Todo 360 was programmed with masculine programming and stood 0.66 meters tall. Eventually, the Duros bounty hunter Cad Bane acquired Todo 360 during the Clone Wars.

Sidious' Assignment

Cad Bane secretly plants a bomb in Todo 360.

Darth Sidious, a Sith Lord secretly manipulating the Republic and initiating the Clone Wars to establish his own sinister empire, hired Bane to pilfer a holocron from the Jedi Temple. Todo received a security chip to access and disable the Jedi Temple's security systems. With help from the Clawdite Cato Parasitti, Todo discovered a vulnerability in the shields. Using Parasitti's shapeshifting ability to impersonate the late Jedi Knight Ord Enisence, Todo and Bane encountered minimal resistance as they proceeded to the Holocron Vault. After communication with Cato was lost, Todo was dispatched to the Temple's communications center. Upon entering, he attempted to convince Jedi Master Mace Windu that he was a maintenance droid. However, Bane had secretly planted a bomb inside Todo to create a diversion so he could successfully steal the holocron, resulting in Todo's destruction, not by the Jedi, but by the explosion.

The Hutts' Assignment

Todo 360 attempts to con C-3PO and R2-D2.

Following the incident at the Jedi Temple, Anakin Skywalker, a Jedi Knight, rebuilt Todo in an effort to gather information about Cad Bane's whereabouts. The plan failed when Todo escaped. Later, Todo rejoined Bane and resumed his role in bounty hunting. He aided Bane in abducting Senator Padmé Amidala's protocol droid, C-3PO. Subsequently, he and HELIOS-3E kidnapped R2-D2, an astromech droid and C-3PO's companion. After Bane acquired the Senate Building's blueprints for a mission to liberate Ziro the Hutt, Todo and HELIOS-3E returned C-3PO and R2-D2 to their original location.

Bane successfully freed Ziro the Hutt from Galactic Republic custody. Todo then assisted Bane, under the instructions of Gardulla and the Grand Hutt Council, in locating Ziro in the swamps of Nal Hutta. The two bounty hunters found themselves pursuing Obi-Wan Kenobi and Quinlan Vos, who were also after Ziro and Bane to bring them to justice. After interrogating Ziro's mother, Todo and Bane traveled to the planet Teth, only to discover Ziro's dead body and the missing council records. Ziro's former lover, Sy Snootles, had taken them to Ziro's nephew Jabba the Hutt for safekeeping. Todo then helped Bane escape the Jedi, attacking Vos and stealing his lightsaber. Todo attempted to fight Kenobi but was defeated. However, he managed to retrieve Bane's hat and escape with him aboard his starfighter, the Xanadu Blood.

The Kaminoans' Assignment

Shortly after the Republic's downfall, Todo accompanied Bane to Bracca to capture Omega, a female clone, on behalf of Lama Su, the Kaminoan Prime Minister. They encountered Hunter, a clone sergeant, protecting Omega, and Todo pointed out the clone's difficult situation. Todo witnessed Bane and Hunter facing off. Bane acted swiftly, shooting Hunter in the chest, causing the sergeant to accidentally shoot off one of Todo's booster legs. Omega attempted to attack Bane with her energy bow, but Todo deflected it with his severed leg. Bane stunned Omega, and they fled, taking her as a hostage.

Todo 360 attempts to fix himself while Omega tries to convince him to let her out.

Following Bane's escape, Todo went to the prison section of Bane's ship where Omega demanded Todo release her. However, Todo refused and told her that Bane doesn't like uncooperative prisoners. After Todo watched Bane speak with Omega, he asked Bane to help him repair his leg, to which Bane ignored him. After Bane went back to the cockpit of the ship, Todo attempted to repair his leg. Omega offered to help Todo if he let her out, to which Todo refused, and said that she was a prisoner and not to be trusted. Eventually, Omega managed to convince Todo to let her out. Honoring what she said, Omega repaired Todo's leg, but then shut down Todo, allowing Omega to search for her comm unit. Shortly after, Bane came back to the prison section, where he found Omega missing and Todo shut down. Bane reactivated Todo and demanded to know where Omega was, to which Todo replied that she was obviously right beside them, but then realized she had left, leaving him shocked that the girl tricked him.

Todo is sent flying due to Fennec's detonator, losing the case of credits in the process.

After Bane had left to find Omega on the planet they had landed on, Todo called Bane and told him that there was an incoming ship. Once the ship was revealed to be Fennec Shand, who had killed the Kaminoan, Taun We sent to retrieve Omega, Todo came up behind Shand while her and Bane were in a standoff, and grabbed the case of credits from her. However, as he tried to fly away, a detonator blew up knocking Todo off the edge, who survived with his thrusters, but the credits fell out of the case. After Bane demanded Todo go find Omega, who had just ran away, Todo flew off in search of her. After some time, Todo found Omega and flew into the room she was in but was quickly shot by Shand.

Todo attempts to stop Omega's escape.

Later, as Omega was climbing down a ladder to try to reach a Kaminoan flight pod, Todo flew out of nowhere and they got into a tussle, which ended with Todo being upside down unable to move as Omega ran to the flight pod. Shortly afterwards, Todo caught up and told Omega through the window that she was going to be captured, but then Omega activated flew off in the flight pod, to which Todo yelled that she would regret this. Following this, Todo informed Bane of Omega fleeing in the flight pod and Bane told Todo to ready the ship. However, Omega had been rescued by Clone Force 99 and when Bane arrived, the ship wasn't working because Shand had sabotaged it, leaving them unable to pursue her or the clones.

Imperial Era

During the Galactic Empire's rise, Todo persisted in serving Bane on various missions aimed at tracking down force-sensitive children. These children were intended for use as specimens at the secret Imperial base located at Mount Tantiss. In one instance, the duo acted on a tip from an Aqualish residing on the planet Caraad. Upon arriving there, Bane and Todo forcibly entered the home of Ailish, a Tarlafar. After stunning her, Bane instructed Todo to obtain a blood sample from her child, Bayrn, to confirm their M-count. Bane then ordered Todo to grab the youngling and keep it quiet. Although Todo protested, asserting that he was not a nanny droid, he placed the child in a hovering pram and provided them with a toy to silence them. With their target secured, Bane and Todo journeyed to Imperial Station 003 above Coruscant to receive their payment. Following Todo's verification that they had received the full payment, the two departed aboard the Justifier.

Personality and traits

Todo displayed a willingness to assist Bane in capturing and securing his targets, even if they were children. He also showed a tendency to mock Bane's prisoners.

Behind the scenes

Concept art of Todo 360

Todo 360 was intended to reappear in the bounty hunters arc of the Star Wars: The Clone Wars TV series, but the show was canceled before this could happen. As he did in other episodes of The Clone Wars, Seth Green voiced Todo 360.

An unfinished reel of the arc, which focused on bounty hunters Cad Bane and Boba Fett collaborating to recover a child kidnapped by Tusken Raiders, depicts Todo 360 and the two hunters being ambushed by Tuskens while camping on Tatooine. During the ambush, Boba Fett intentionally allowed himself to be captured, equipped with a tracking device linked to Bane, to locate the Tusken Raider camp. Subsequently, Todo sought refuge behind Bane and Fett's dewback mounts as his master used a flamethrower to repel the attackers. Todo later voiced his concern for Boba Fett's well-being, which Cad Bane, being more experienced, dismissed.
