Posla's ship
Posla's personal starship was the vessel used by the vigilante Tam Posla. It came equipped with both scanning technology and a self-destruct mechanism. Around 1 ABY, Posla acquired the ship from the assassin droid 0-0-0 on the Outer Rim planet of Son-tuul. The vigilante utilized this starship as his mobile headquarters while he was actively pursuing the criminal Doctor Cornelius Evazan.
Eventually, Posla piloted his ship to Accresker Jail, a wreckage-prison. His purpose was to deliver an escape shuttle for the rogue archaeologist Chelli Aphra, which was attached to the ship's underside. This was in exchange for a frozen Evazan. After Evazan was thawed, he deceived Posla, making him believe he was a shape-shifter known as "Lopset Yas." This prompted Posla to return to Accresker in his ship to apprehend Aphra. However, on the wreckage-prison, the vigilante met his death at the hands of 0-0-0, who was also after the rogue archaeologist. Subsequently, Evazan seized both Aphra and 0-0-0, taking them aboard Posla's ship.
While aboard the starship, Evazan implanted a proximity bomb into the deactivated 0-0-0, linking it to another bomb already inside the unconscious Aphra. He then revealed his true identity to Aphra upon her awakening before abandoning them on Posla's ship. After 0-0-0 reactivated, he and Aphra journeyed to the planet Milvayne to have their proximity bombs removed by Rajam Nuss, Posla's personal cyberneticist. The Milvayne Authority, Milvayne's police force, quickly moved to intercept them. To create a diversion, 0-0-0 remotely detonated the ship using its security fob, distracting the pursuing police officers.
Description
The L-shaped starship that belonged to Tam Posla, the vigilante and former lawman, had two sublight engines at the rear. Its undercarriage was equipped with a clamp capable of carrying a small escape shuttle. Posla's ship was characterized by its silver hull accented with red, green, and gray colors in certain areas, along with a gold-tinted, two-seat cockpit. The ship's interior also included a room with a bunk and several holoprojectors. The ship's systems incorporated a [hyperdrive](/article/hyperdrive], a self-destruct mechanism that could be triggered by a security fob, a heating array, and a mission log activated by voice. Furthermore, Posla's ship was outfitted with scanning equipment that proved invaluable to the vigilante, and the vessel could be operated using voice commands.
History
Tracking Evazan

Prior to Tam Posla's ownership, the assassin droid 0-0-0 was the original owner of Posla's ship, which he sold to Posla on the Outer Rim Territories planet Son-tuul around 1 ABY. The droid also made arrangements to spy on Posla through the ship's systems, hoping to gather information about the rogue archaeologist Chelli Aphra. Posla used the ship as a mobile base while hunting down the criminal surgeon and smuggler Doctor Cornelius Evazan.
The vigilante utilized the vessel's technology to record his discoveries and to scan for clues regarding Evazan's location. His investigations revealed Evazan's presence at a biofarm on Thannt, an astronomical object, and led to the acquisition of the severed arm of Ponda Baba, the doctor's Aqualish associate. When Evazan's trail went cold for over a month, Posla resorted to searching custodial facilities from his ship, seeking any potential traces of the surgeon.
During that time, Posla's ship remained in deep space, where Posla continued to scan for leads on Evazan. Eventually, his scanning picked up a transmission from Hera Syndulla, a general in the Rebel Alliance, to her operative, Sana Starros. Although Syndulla couldn't directly contact Starros because the latter's ship had crashed, Posla overheard her mentioning Aphra, whom the vigilante suspected of killing his former lover, Caysin Bog. Posla noted the possible reference and logged it, also praising the ship's advanced scanning system and reminding himself to commend 0-0-0 for selling him the vessel. Meanwhile, 0-0-0 himself was spying on Posla's ship, having left Son-tuul to pursue Aphra. The assassin droid recorded Posla's remark about the reference to the rogue archaeologist and replayed it continuously.
Voyage to Accresker Jail

After the Galactic Empire's wreckage-prison, Accresker Jail, was decommissioned, Aphra contacted Posla aboard his ship, requesting a rescue from the prison. Initially, the former lawman refused, but he was surprised to see Aphra holding Evazan at knifepoint. Aphra had been deceived, as Evazan was posing as a shape-shifter named "Lopset Yas" using a bioengineered creature called a pluripleq to alter his appearance. Determined to capture Evazan, Posla reluctantly agreed to Aphra's terms, and Aphra informed him of her location at Accresker Jail. The vigilante then traveled to the prison aboard his vessel, unaware that 0-0-0 was monitoring his communications with Aphra and had also set a course for the jail. Posla's ship, carrying an escape shuttle as a trade for Evazan, subsequently exited hyperspace near Accresker Jail, which was on a collision course with the planet Tiferep Major.
Posla's ship entered the wreckage of Accresker's prison-tug and landed in the cruiser's hangar. Posla then disembarked to meet Aphra and receive the "fake" Evazan, who was encased in a block of ice. As Posla began to remove Evazan, a highly contagious fungus known as gundravian hookspores attempted to infect the vigilante. Before the fungus could reach Posla, Aphra's companion, the Imperial Captain-Inspector Magna Tolvan, froze it using the same coolant grille that had frozen "Yas." Aphra urged Posla to leave while he could, and he returned to his ship with the ice block. After departing the prison, the ex-lawman began to question the legitimacy of Aphra's trade and directed the vessel to divert power to the heating array to melt the ice block containing Evazan.
Theft
After being freed from the ice, Evazan reverted to his "Yas" disguise, leading Posla to believe he had been tricked by Aphra. The vigilante turned his ship around and landed back at Accresker Jail, leaving his vessel to find Aphra. Upon locating the rogue archaeologist, Posla declared her under arrest, but he was attacked by 0-0-0, who had also arrived to confront Aphra. The droid killed Posla and captured Aphra, while Evazan, still disguised as "Yas," fled. However, "Yas" later reunited with Aphra, stunning 0-0-0 and freeing the archaeologist, whom he then also stunned. He brought them both aboard Posla's ship, escaping the jail before it collided with Tiferep Major.

While both Aphra and 0-0-0 were incapacitated on the late Posla's ship, Evazan removed the proximity bomb that had been implanted in his throat to keep him in line at Accresker Jail and placed it inside the assassin droid. The criminal further attached the bomb to 0-0-0's personality core, linking it to Aphra's own proximity bomb implant so that she and the droid could not move more than twenty meters apart. When Aphra awoke, asking "Yas" what he had done, Evazan revealed his true identity. As he spoke, Ponda Baba docked his ship with Posla's. Evazan then left the vessel to join Baba, taking the latter's severed arm with him and leaving Aphra trapped with 0-0-0, who was beginning to reactivate.
Once the droid was awake, he began to attack her, but Aphra frantically explained their situation. Aboard Posla's old ship, the pair discovered credits from the planet Milvayne and information about Posla's cyberneticist, Rajam Nuss. They then piloted the ship to Milvayne to locate the cyberneticist and have their proximity bombs removed. Aphra and 0-0-0 landed it at a spaceport in Milvayne City, where the assassin droid murdered the border officer who requested their identification and authorization documents. The Milvayne Authority, Milvayne's police force, quickly moved to intercept them, but 0-0-0 remotely destroyed Posla's ship using its security fob, creating a diversion for the pursuing police officers.
