TZ-2

TZ-2, alternatively known as Teezee-Too or simply Teezee, functioned as an RA-7 protocol droid under the command of General Airen Cracken within the Rebel Alliance's Intelligence sector. During the Imperial Coalition for Progress' elaborate scheme orchestrated by Minister Pitina Voor to eliminate Emperor Palpatine, Alliance Intelligence was deceived into manipulating archaeologist Doctor Chelli Aphra, who was in possession of the Jedi relic known as the Farkiller. Cracken and Teezee-Too feigned the discovery of their own assassination plot, centered around a superweapon, with the intention of prompting Aphra to recover the Farkiller, which they had secretly equipped with a stun device. Their goal was for Aphra to then expose the rebels' fabricated plan to the Empire, ultimately ensuring the Farkiller fell into the Emperor's grasp. However, Aphra was aware of Voor's true intentions, broadcasting them across the galaxy, leading the rebels to abandon their strategy.

Later, Alliance Intelligence endeavored to locate Aphra, who had been compelled to serve as an archaeological consultant for the Empire after her capture by Darth Vader. Teezee-Too was stationed on the starship designated Unnamed, where Captain Magna Tolvan brought aboard a captured Imperial shuttle containing Aphra. The archaeologist managed to evade Tolvan and encountered Teezee-Too in the Unnamed's operations center. Aphra seized control of Teezee-Too, using her clothing to disguise the protocol droid in an attempt to mislead Tolvan and her strike team. Tolvan entered the operations room, falling for Aphra's ruse and allowing the archaeologist to escape while she unknowingly confronted Teezee-Too.

Biography

Service to the Rebellion

During the Galactic Civil War that pitted the Rebel Alliance against the Galactic Empire, Teezee-Too was a member of the Rebel Alliance Intelligence Service, the intelligence arm of the Rebellion, serving under General Airen Cracken. She occasionally lent assistance to Strike Team Misericorde, a unit headed by Captain Magna Tolvan, a former Imperial officer who had defected to the Rebel Alliance.

As part of her plot to assassinate Emperor Palpatine, Minister Pitina Voor of the Coalition for Progress provided the Rebel Alliance with information indicating that archaeologist Doctor Aphra possessed the Farkiller, an ancient weapon crafted by the rogue Jedi Oo'ob. As Voor anticipated, the rebels believed that Aphra, being pursued by the Empire, would be desperate to clear her name. Consequently, Alliance Intelligence conceived a fictitious plot, involving the creation of a superweapon utilizing the rifle, to manipulate Aphra into disrupting the plot and delivering the weapon into the Empire's hands. They embedded a non-lethal stun device into the rifle, designed to activate upon its delivery to the Emperor for inspection, disabling the defenses within the Imperial Palace on Coruscant.

Imaginary Superweapon

Following Aphra's theft of the Farkiller from the Slinani Migration Shrine Red Mist, transporting it to Unox, Teezee-Too accompanied Extraction Team Misericorde to retrieve the weapon. As Captain Tolvan disembarked from a U-wing, Teezee-Too announced her presence to Aphra, who had previously been romantically involved with Tolvan and had previously betrayed her to ensure her own survival. Tolvan incapacitated Aphra with a stun blast, and she was taken to the space station Trading Post Sh'ung-tesk, a livestock market that the Rebellion was using as a temporary base. Upon awakening, Tolvan confiscated the Farkiller from Aphra, while General Cracken and Teezee-Too outlined their fabricated plan to create a superweapon to kill the Emperor, using both the Farkiller and the plans from the Empire's Death Star.

Doctor Aphra uses a slicing unit to hijack Teezee-Too.

After the rebels had finished explaining their scheme, Teezee-Too revealed her awareness of Aphra's placement of slicing units on their technology, including herself. Despite Cracken's offer to welcome Aphra into the Rebellion, the archaeologist declined, departing with her ward, Vulaada Klam. However, after being pursued by bounty hunters on Arbiflux, Aphra returned to General Cracken, who assigned Teezee-Too to monitor Aphra. Teezee-Too escorted Aphra to the laboratory where the Farkiller was stored, citing her distrust of the archaeologist. Aphra validated Teezee-Too's suspicions by revealing that the protocol droid had overlooked one of her hijack units, which she then used to slice into Teezee-Too.

An Unexpected Twist

Having gained control of the droid, Aphra instructed Teezee-Too to access the laboratory's security systems, sealing the room and manipulating the sensor readings to conceal her actions. Before Aphra could reclaim the Farkiller, however, she was confronted by Tolvan. Nevertheless, the rebels had anticipated Aphra's attempt to steal the Farkiller, allowing her to retrieve the weapon and escape with the assistance of the Wookiee bounty hunter Krrsantan.

Teezee-Too and Alliance Intelligence watch as Doctor Aphra reveals Minister Voor's plot.

With the Farkiller in her possession, Aphra utilized a communication relay on Usk Minor to inform the Empire of the supposed rebel plot, and was subsequently retrieved by Minister Voor, who transported her to the Coalition for Progress headquarters on Centax-3. The Farkiller was delivered to the Emperor for inspection, and the rebels planned to launch an assault on the Imperial Palace once their stun weapon was activated. However, Aphra was aware of the manipulations of both the rebels and Minister Voor. While Voor revealed the details of her scheme, Aphra used a hijacked cam droid to broadcast her speech to both the rebels and the Empire. Upon learning that they had also been manipulated, and that Palpatine had not been affected by the sabotaged Farkiller, Teezee-Too and Alliance Intelligence decided against proceeding with their seizure of power on Coruscant.

Aboard the Unnamed

Teezee-Too, disguised as Doctor Aphra.

Following Aphra's disruption of Minister Voor's plot, she was captured by the Sith Lord Darth Vader, who forced her to work for the Empire as part of a team of archaeological consultants for Project Swarm, the search for the new rebel base, situated on the planet Hoth. After Aphra discovered Asteroid Helix 13-v, an asteroid where rebels had briefly stopped before moving to Hoth, Alliance Intelligence discovered that Aphra had investigated the asteroid through footage obtained from cameras hidden in the temporary base. Tolvan's strike team was dispatched to capture the Imperial shuttle carrying Aphra, which was pulled into the Rebel Intelligence starship Unnamed.

While Tolvan attempted to apprehend Aphra, Teezee-Too was stationed in the operations room of the Unnamed, analyzing the footage from the Asteroid-Helix. From the footage, Teezee-Too deduced that the Empire was attempting to locate their new headquarters, reporting her findings to Tolvan. However, Aphra had evaded Tolvan and made her way to the operations room, incapacitating Teezee-Too. As Tolvan and Strike Team Misericorde rushed to the operations room, Aphra placed her jacket, gloves, and hat on Teezee-Too, and remotely controlled the droid to appear as if Teezee-Too were her. When Tolvan entered, she believed that Teezee-Too was Aphra, and attempted to confront her. Tolvan ordered "Aphra" to turn around, and Teezee-Too managed to stand, revealing Aphra's trick. Aphra, who was waiting outside the door to the operations room, destroyed the door's control panel, trapping all members of the strike team besides Tolvan.

Characteristics

As an RA-7 protocol droid, Teezee-Too was a product of Arakyd Industries. Standing at a height of 1.7 meters, Teezee-Too possessed red plating and photoreceptors. Her archive contained records, including historical information written by Professor Korin Aphra. Teezee-Too was also capable of displaying holographic images, including live feeds. Despite being a droid, and claiming to have little need for faith, Teezee-Too believed in the importance of earning trust, particularly within the Rebellion. Teezee-Too could predict statistics, estimating a 76 percent probability that Gurtyl, the pet qaberworm of Aphra's ward Vulaada Klam, was a diversion for one of Aphra's schemes. Teezee-Too was distressed by Aphra's repeated attempts to hijack her, and was irritated when she succeeded in doing so aboard the Unnamed.

Equipment

While collecting Aphra and the Farkiller on Unox, Teezee-Too utilized a speeder bike. In the operations room of the Unnamed, Teezee-Too had access to a range of technology and could view previously recorded footage on holographic screens.
